Who we are:

We are a non-profit Remote Control Car Club that meets on Sundays (weather permitting) to practice, race, bash and repair our nitro and electric RC cars, trucks, and boats at Sierra Point in Brisbane, CA. Our club is mostly comprised of big kids age 18 and up.

As with most hobbies, R/C's are very expensive and time consuming; yet we all still somehow find the time and money to fuel our passion and addiction.

Our members come from many different life paths including careers, families, neighborhoods, and point of views; but for at least one day of every month, we come together to share the one thing that is common among us:

We are Control Freqs!
Radio Control Freqs!

We often spend more time talking, helping, playing games, and laughing with each other than we do playing with out toys.

Some of us spend the whole week late at night working, tuning, tweaking, polishing, and cleaning our machines in preparation for the carnage, devestation, havoc, and pure insanity that we will put them though...all in one day. And sometimes, we spend the whole week working, tuning, tweaking, polishing, and cleaning our machines only to get a dissappointing run time of about 5 minutes due to a loose set screw, a stripped servo horn, a stripped spur gear, or dead batteries...all leading to frustation.

All in all, it is worth every minute. To spend time with our gang: running or not.

Our track: Our team is equipped with an on-road track (made from 2x4's), a field (perfect for flying a plane or heli), the San Francisco Bay (for boats of course), a generator, a drivers' stand, tables, E-Z-Up tents, extension cords, and best-of-all really nice and really helpful members. All of our track equipment and operating costs are entirely dependent upon donations from club members; although ALL donations are welcomed!

Want to Join?

Let us know by sending us a message or visit us at the track on any weather permissable Sunday. We are open to spectators and guests. We ask that guests and potential members make a small donation towards the club. If you decide to become an official member, your previous donations will be applied to your initial membership donation.
